Azerbaijani, Turkish, Georgian MPs to discuss key regional issues in Ankara
Chairman of the Committee for International Relations and Interparliamentary Ties Samad Seyidov, along with MPs Sevinc Fataliyeva, Asim Mollazade, and Nasib Mahamaliyev, will visit Ankara on December 2.
The MPs will participate in a trilateral meeting of the Committees on Foreign Relations of the Parliaments of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Georgia, the Press and PR Department of the Azerbaijani parliament said, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Discussions on the role of parliamentary diplomacy in implementing government-led projects will focus on issues related to expanding regional and international cooperation, as well as collaboration among the countries in political, humanitarian, economic, trade-energy, and transport-communication sectors.
The agenda of the meeting will also include discussions on the situation in the Caucasus and the Middle East, the COP29 event held in Baku, and other key issues. A press conference will be held at the conclusion of the event. The visit will conclude on December 4.
