Bahrain air defences thwart massive wave of Iranian attacks

The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced that its air defence systems have intercepted and destroyed 105 missiles and 176 drones since Iran’s retaliatory strikes targeted countries hosting US forces and assets in the region, Al Jazeera reports.

In a statement, the General Command of the BDF said its forces continued to respond to what it described as “heinous” Iranian attacks, emphasizing the ongoing vigilance and readiness of Bahrain’s defence infrastructure,
