Bahrain foils Hezbollah-linked terror cell, three arrested

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said it had dismantled a terrorist cell and arrested three individuals accused of links to the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

In a statement posted on its official X page, the ministry said the suspects had formed a terrorist cell and sought to establish contact with operatives abroad.

The group allegedly aimed to undermine the kingdom’s sovereignty and endanger national security, according to the statement.
