Bahrain launches national registry for military volunteer effort
Bahraini authorities have announced the launch of a national registry allowing residents to sign up to support military efforts, according to an official notice published on the website of the Bahrain National Volunteer Platform.
The initiative invites volunteers to register for roles in medicine, engineering, logistics, administration and supervisory services. Officials said the programme is open to all residents of the country, including foreign nationals.
The government’s statement calls on Bahrain’s population of approximately 1.5 million people to participate, framing the registry as part of broader national preparedness efforts. Further details about the scope or duration of the initiative were not immediately provided.
