Bahrain military: 75 missiles, 123 drones destroyed in Iranian attacks
The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced that the country’s air defence systems are continuing to repel missile and drone attacks launched by Iran, describing the strikes as part of a “terrorist aggression.”
According to Bahrain’s state news agency BNA, Bahraini air defences have destroyed 75 missiles and 123 unmanned aerial vehicles since the attacks began.
The military command praised the combat readiness and operational professionalism of its units, saying the actions of personnel have ensured the protection of the country’s airspace.
Authorities also issued guidance to the public amid the ongoing security situation. Residents were urged to remain in their homes, avoid potentially dangerous locations and suspicious objects, and refrain from filming or sharing unverified information.
Citizens were advised to rely solely on official sources and established media outlets for updates.
The Bahrain Defence Force further stated that attacks targeting civilian infrastructure violate international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, warning that such actions represent a direct threat to regional peace and security.
