Bahrain reports Iranian drone attack on civil aviation facilities PHOTO

Bahrain’s civil air navigation facilities have come under attack by Iranian drones, though the incident did not disrupt air traffic, the kingdom’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications announced.

“In the wake of the Iranian attacks against the Kingdom of Bahrain, civil air navigation facilities were targeted by drones,” the ministry said in a statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

The ministry stressed that the strikes had no impact on air operations and that the relevant authorities immediately took the necessary measures to ensure flight safety.

Transit air traffic through Bahrain’s Flight Information Region continues to operate normally, the statement added.
