Bahrain says it has intercepted 114 Iranian missiles and 190 drones
Air defence systems in Bahrain intercepted two Iranian missiles and four drones on Friday, March 13, according to a statement from the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force reported by the Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The military said that since the beginning of the ongoing hostilities, Bahrain’s air defences have intercepted and destroyed a total of 114 missiles and 190 unmanned aerial vehicles that were directed toward the kingdom’s territory.
In its statement, the General Command condemned the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian areas and private property, describing such actions as a serious violation of international humanitarian law and the Charter of the United Nations.
The Bahraini military added that these indiscriminate attacks represent a direct threat to regional peace and security.
