Bahrain says it shot down 73 missiles and 91 drones launched from Iran

Bahrain’s air defence forces have intercepted and destroyed 73 missiles and 91 drones launched from Iran since the outbreak of the current escalation, the command of the Bahrain Defence Force announced.

According to the state news agency BNA, the military said its air defence systems successfully neutralised the incoming projectiles targeting the Kingdom.

“The air defence systems destroyed 73 missiles and 91 drones launched during the brutal Iranian terrorist attack on the Kingdom of Bahrain. We managed to thwart this indiscriminate attack,” the statement read.

The authorities described the operation as a successful effort to prevent further damage amid the ongoing regional escalation.
