Baku–Aghdam passenger trains set to launch on August 30 Photo / Video

Passenger trains between Baku and Aghdam are set to begin running from August 30, according to Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.

The services, operated using modern trains, will run on a regular schedule, with departures planned every Saturday in both directions, Caliber.Az reports.

Tickets are now available for purchase.

On May 10, 2025, President Ilham Aliyev inaugurated the Aghdam Railway and Bus Terminal Complex.

This modern facility is designed to handle between 800 and 1,000 passengers daily and includes amenities such as waiting halls, ticket offices, shops, restaurants, and relaxation areas.

The complex serves as a key transportation hub for the region
