Baku and Azerbaijan Orthodox Diocese condoles with Turkish envoy over deadly quake

The Baku and Azerbaijan Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) has sent a letter of condolence to Turkish Ambassador Cahit Bagci.

"Dear Mr Ambassador,

In your person, on behalf of the Baku and Azerbaijani Orthodox Diocese, we express our deepest condolences to the entire fraternal people of Türkiye in connection with the terrible earthquake that killed and injured thousands of people.

In this sad hour for Türkiye, we are united in our prayers for patience to those searching for people under the rubble, for the speedy recovery of the wounded, for courage and fortitude to the relatives and friends of the victims," Caliber.Az reports, citing the letter from the Diocese.
