Baku, Ankara discuss cooperation in judicial, legal spheres

A delegation led by Türkiye’s Supreme Court Prosecutor General Muhsin Şentürk visited the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan to discuss judicial and legal cooperation.

During the meeting, Supreme Court Chairman Inam Karimov highlighted the fraternal and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, noting the successful development of bilateral relations across all sectors. He emphasised that judicial and legal cooperation continues to strengthen through mutual visits and experience sharing, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Karimov also presented detailed information on measures to modernise Azerbaijan’s judicial system, expand e-services, improve judges’ professional standards, and humanise criminal policy.

Şentürk expressed gratitude for the warm reception, praised the bilateral relations, and underlined the importance both countries place on their further development.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on other matters of mutual interest.
