Baku Boulevard upgrades leisure zone with safer, modern attractions PHOTO

New rides have been launched on Baku Boulevard as part of efforts to improve leisure facilities for residents and visitors, according to the Press Office of the Seaside Boulevard Department.

Afsana Mehdiyeva, head of the department’s press service, told Caliber.Az that operations of several attractions for adult visitors had previously been suspended due to the expiry of their service life and failure to meet safety standards.

“In response to numerous public requests and appeals regarding the reconstruction of these attractions, the Seaside Boulevard Department carried out restoration and modernisation works,” Mehdiyeva said.

“As a result, the rides have been restored on their original site, while entirely new attractions that meet modern safety and quality standards have also been introduced,” she added.

In addition to traditional ticket offices, the upgraded leisure area now features electronic terminals allowing visitors to purchase tickets with just three taps on the display.

Tickets for each ride are priced at 4 manats ($ 2.3).
