Baku centre, UAE human fraternity committee sign MoU to promote tolerance
The Baku International Multiculturalism Centre (BIMC) and the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity (HCHF) of the United Arab Emirates have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation on promoting tolerance, mutual respect, and human fraternity.
The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration between the two organisations and implement joint initiatives on both regional and global levels. Under the MoU, the parties will exchange information and publications, support youth initiatives, develop intercultural exchange programs, and organise capacity-building trainings, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
The partnership also includes hosting joint international conferences, seminars, and awareness campaigns. Signed for a period of two years, the memorandum provides for promoting research on human fraternity through BIMC’s academic network and developing mechanisms to monitor the outcomes of their joint activities.
Officials emphasised that the agreement will foster friendship and cooperation among peoples, enhance mutual trust and understanding, and contribute to deepening dialogue between cultures and religions.
They highlighted the role of the cooperation in spreading tolerance traditions and encouraging young people to embrace the values of peace and coexistence.
The parties also noted that the MoU will open new opportunities for promoting humanistic principles, protecting multicultural values, and strengthening peace and stability on regional and global scales.
