Baku hosts 2nd Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum on digital transformation PHOTO
The second Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum has officially opened in Baku, focusing on the theme of "Digital Transformation and Media".
Organised by Azerbaijan’s Media Development Agency, the Forum will explore a range of subjects, including “Media Partnership in the Digital Age: Joint Initiatives Towards Information Security” and “Ethical Responsibility in the Digital Information Environment”, among others, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The opening ceremony was attended by officials from Uzbekistan, alongside media executives and journalists from both countries, highlighting the growing cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Uzbek media sectors.
Attendees include Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency (MEDİA); Ismat Sattarov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council of Azerbaijan; Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan; Dilshod Saidjanov, Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan; and Nozima Muratova, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan.
The forum aims to strengthen media cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the digital age, with a focus on information security, ethical standards, and innovative practices in journalism.
