Social networking platforms have presented a selection of photos taken since 1900 from the same angle – from the "Tagiyev Gate" of Icherisheher to Azerbaijan Avenue (during the Russian Empire – Bazarnaya Street, during the USSR – Husu Hajiyev Street).

They immortalise how this part of Baku and the people who inhabited our city changed.
