Baku schoolchildren visit Orthodox Church as part of multiculturalism policy PHOTO

Pupils of Baku secondary school No 310, accompanied by their parents, visited the Church of St Michael the Archangel of Baku and the Azerbaijan Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Diocese told Caliber.Az that this was done within the framework of familiarisation with the traditional religions of Azerbaijan and with the basic principles of the Azerbaijani model of multiculturalism.

The students were met by the cleric of the temple, Archpriest Andrei Bezotosny, who told the young visitors about the structure of the temple, history and activities of the parish. During the conversation, Archpriest Andrei answered numerous questions from the students.
