Baku, Seoul strengthen ties through audit collaboration, says Korean official
Azerbaijan and South Korea are deepening cooperation in the field of supreme auditing, Lee Mi-hyun, head of South Korea’s supreme audit institution.
She emphasised that the exchange of information and experience between the audit bodies of the two countries is actively developing, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
“This cooperation contributes to strengthening transparency, accountability, and enhancing institutional capacity,” she noted.
According to her, the 62nd Governing Board Meeting of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), currently taking place in Baku, serves as an important platform for deepening the partnership.
“Such conferences promote mutual understanding and the sharing of professional practices. The high level of organization of the event in Azerbaijan demonstrates the importance the country attaches to international cooperation,” Hyun said.
She added that Azerbaijan and South Korea are successfully developing cooperation not only in the field of auditing but also in other areas.
