Baku, Skopje discuss fight against cybercrime PHOTO
Azerbaijani Interior Minister, Col-Gen Vilayat Eyvazov, and North Macedonian Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski have discussed cooperation in the fight against cybercrime.
During their meeting in Baku, Eyvazov informed Toshkovski's delegation about the existing crime situation in the country, work carried out in the field of human rights protection, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
He stressed that the focus is on the fight against drug trafficking, international terrorism, human trafficking, illegal migration and cybercrime, which are the main types of transnational organized crime, and effective fight against them is possible only through joint efforts.
The meeting exchanged views on areas of cooperation in combating cybercrime, exchange of experience and issues of mutual interest.
Toshkovski said that his department is interested in expanding cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, including the study of best practices in the field of combating crime and ensuring public order.
To note, North Macedonian Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski arrived in Azerbaijan on March 9 on an official visit.
