Baku, Tashkent discuss implementation of joint media projects
On September 29, 2025, a meeting was held at the Media Development Agency with an Uzbek delegation visiting Azerbaijan for the Second Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum, Trend reports.
During the meeting, Ahmad Ismailov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, provided an update on the implementation of measures outlined in the “Roadmap” for media cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. He highlighted the successful development of bilateral relations across multiple sectors, including the media sphere, emphasising that experience exchange, joint projects, and professional development initiatives are raising cooperation to a new level.
Dilshod Saidjanov, head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan and leader of the Uzbek delegation, stressed that the strategic partnership between the two countries has already yielded significant results in media development. He underscored the importance of enhancing information exchange and implementing joint media projects, noting that traditional media forums are especially valuable for identifying new opportunities and jointly planning future initiatives between the two brotherly nations.
