Bali hit by floods: homes destroyed, road to airport blocked VIDEO
Heavy rainfall has caused widespread flooding and damage across the Indonesian island of Bali.
The downpours have inundated the island’s capital, Denpasar, and surrounding areas, Caliber.Az reports per foreign media.

Eyewitnesses and local authorities report that roads and homes are submerged, with some buildings collapsing.
The floods were triggered by persistent and intense rainfall. Indonesia frequently faces natural disasters due to its location within the Pacific Ring of Fire.

Eyewitnesses say the Simpang Deva Ruci tunnel has been flooded, making access to Ngurah Rai International Airport extremely difficult.
Local emergency services are working to manage the aftermath and restore access.
