Bangkok floods send fish onto city roads VIDEO

Torrential rains and overflowing urban waterways have caused widespread flooding in Bangkok, inundating low-lying areas of the Thai capital and disrupting traffic on several streets.

As the city’s canals and nearby waterways became overwhelmed, water spilt onto roads, turning sections of the capital into flooded thoroughfares.

Fish, including catfish, were swept onto the flooded streets along with the rising water. Local residents and motorists reported seeing schools of fish swimming directly along the roads.

The flooding has also disrupted parts of the city’s infrastructure and affected pedestrian areas.
