Barron Trump reportedly calls London police after Russian girlfriend assaulted
Barron Trump, the only son of U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, reportedly contacted London police to request assistance for a Russian woman he is said to be close with.
The incident came to light during a court hearing in London, where 22-year-old Matvei Rumiantsev was found guilty of assaulting the woman, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
The identity of the victim has not been publicly disclosed. Court documents indicate she has lived in multiple countries, including Russia, and recently visited the United States to see family. During the emergency call, Barron Trump reportedly explained that he had met the woman through social media and described her as being “very close” to him.
The assault occurred on January 18, 2025, and body-camera footage released during the trial shows the woman identifying herself as Barron Trump’s girlfriend. Prosecutors noted that Rumiantsev had attacked the woman previously, including an incident in November 2024, reportedly linked to jealousy over a message she sent to Barron.
According to reports, during the January incident, Barron attempted to reach the woman via FaceTime, capturing a brief 5–7 second video in which he saw her lying on the floor and apparently being attacked. Barron urged the operator to send police immediately, stating: “She’s getting beaten up really badly.”
The details of Barron Trump’s relationship with the woman, including whether he was physically present during the incident, have not been made clear in court.
