Belarus embassy in Iran advises using Azerbaijan to exit the country
The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Islamic Republic of Iran has issued guidance for Belarusian citizens amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises citizens to remain vigilant, avoid panic, exercise caution, and follow personal safety measures. It is recommended to avoid military and government sites, refrain from taking photos or videos, stay away from crowds, and follow the instructions of the embassy and local authorities. In case of danger, citizens should head to shelters or lower levels of underground parking, the embassy told Belta.
Due to the closure of Iranian airspace, Belarusian citizens are strongly advised to use available land routes to leave the country via Azerbaijan or Armenia. Travelling through Azerbaijan requires obtaining individual permits in advance.
