Belarus FM: France should learn from China's peace-oriented diplomacy
Belarus Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik has said that France should learn from China constructive and peace-oriented diplomacy.
He made the remarks during a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, TASS reports.
"France should really look more closely at the constructive experience of Chinese diplomacy because the experience of Chinese diplomacy has already made it possible to resolve a number of serious inter-state contradictions," he said.
According to the minister, China is working in this direction by putting forward its plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
Aleinik also added that Minsk expects China's special envoy for Eurasian affairs Li Hui to visit the Belarusian capital "at some stage" during his trip to European states because Belarus "has always been and will always remain a platform for peace talks".
