During a meeting with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov on October 3, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko clarified that the relationship between Belarus and Azerbaijan is not an alliance against third countries.

"Belarus and Azerbaijan have not aligned against third countries, but work together in the interests of the peoples of the two states," Lukashenko said, Caliber.Az reports per Belarus media.

“Despite various developments in the international arena, when it comes to our relations… no topics are off-limits for Belarus and Azerbaijan. We do not violate any norms of international law, our friendship is not aimed against third countries, we work in the interests of our peoples,” the president emphasized.
