Belarus president wants smooth Minsk-Astana interaction in aviation
23 September 2025 19:40
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, in a meeting with the country’s Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, emphasised the need to establish cooperation between Minsk and Astana in the field of aviation.
"Our aircraft are not serviced or refuelled there. Russian aircraft are exactly the same; they are refuelled and serviced, but Belarus ones are not. The situation needs to be rectified. The issue has now been placed under special review," Lukashenko said, Caliber.Az reports via a Belarus news agency.
He noted that Belarus has always had good relations with Kazakhstan, but "interests must be protected."
