Belarus, Russia should end critical dependence on foreign nations — Lukashenko

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has emphasised the need for Belarus and Russia to eliminate critical dependence on other nations.

He made the remarks during a meeting with Murmansk Governor Andrey Chibis, according to BELTA.

“Let’s move forward, but most importantly, we must see our own interests. You can see how events are unfolding globally. We need to protect our land, our people, and above all, our interests. At every meeting with Russian leadership, I stress this position and urge them that we must rid ourselves of dependence on other countries, especially critical dependence. We must protect what is ours,” Lukashenko said.
