Belarus says it received over 6,200 Ukrainian citizens in January

More than 6,200 Ukrainian citizens arrived in Belarus in January, the Belarus State Border Committee told BELTA.

According to the committee, a total of 6,244 Ukrainian citizens entered Belarus from Ukrainian territory over the past month: 5,502 transited via Poland, 705 via Lithuania, and 37 via Latvia.

Overall, 115,165 Ukrainian citizens have entered Belarus since the beginning of 2025. Of these, 72 crossed directly through the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, while 92,722 arrived in transit via Poland, 20,206 via Lithuania, and 2,165 via Latvia.
