Belarus sets up commission to control exports to Russia

03 October 2023 17:40

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has instructed to create a commission to control exports to Russia.

The decree on its creation should be signed soon. The commission will be headed by Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitri Krutoy, according to BELTA.

During the meeting with the ambassador, Alexander Lukashenko demanded to report to him directly if there are any questions about the work of the commission.

"It's up to you how you will plan this work. If people come to me, they will go straight to you. And you get together there and discuss. Report directly, say what needs to be done," said the President of Belarus.

According to Lukashenko, despite the difficult situation in the world, Belarus has managed to cope with all the problems, but "now it's necessary to rise from the knees.”

"Sanctions, not sanctions - the whole world is ready to buy fertilizers and oil products. Even Russia has a deficit. Therefore, there are no goods in Belarus that we can't sell. We just need to move. You, your commission are responsible for especially important groups of goods," added the head of state.
