Belarusian leader backs Trump’s peace efforts on Ukraine

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has voiced his support for US President Donald Trump’s efforts to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, expressing a willingness to collaborate on any peace initiatives aimed at ending the war.

In an exclusive interview with US blogger Mario Nawfal, Lukashenko lauded Trump’s consistent focus on diplomatic efforts to halt the war in Ukraine and address conflicts in the Middle East, Caliber.Az reports via Belarussian media. 

“Trump is doing well by speaking out and taking steps toward stopping the war in Ukraine and in the Middle East. That is invaluable in foreign policy. It seems to me that there is no other agenda for him but to end the war,” Lukashenko stated.

The Belarusian leader also expressed optimism about the current US administration’s approach to the Ukrainian crisis, calling their strategies for conflict resolution “brilliant.” 

Lukashenko emphasised that he is fully prepared to join forces with the US in working toward peace, adding, “I am ready to stand alongside and do everything necessary to end the war and improve the lives of people.”
