Belarusian president observes military demonstration of advanced weaponry
Belarusian military has showcased the capabilities of domestically produced drones during President Alexander Lukashenko's visit to the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground.
The demonstration included the use of standard domestic fragmentation-fuze munitions weighing between 500 grams and 2 kilograms, delivered both by drone drops and FPV drones, Caliber.Az reports via Belarussian media.
The exhibition also featured launches of various drone systems, including "Quadro-M," "Chekan-V," "Mirotvorets," and "Lovchiy". Representatives from defence enterprises discussed new developments and improvements to existing models.
President Lukashenko emphasised the importance of using domestic components in the production of such equipment. From the command post, the president observed Belarusian drones in action.
Military personnel staged several scenarios demonstrating the combat capabilities of various weapon systems and military equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles, counter-drone measures, and automated control systems aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of military formations.
The demonstration once again showcased that domestic weapon developers are attuned to the current situation and capable of responding to modern challenges and threats to military security, thereby facilitating the accomplishment of combat tasks in contemporary warfare conditions.
