Bloomberg: Bitcoin reaches its highest level since March amid US–Iran tensions
14 April 2026 13:59
Bitcoin rose by nearly 5% on the morning of April 14, reaching its highest level since March 17, amid growing investor appetite for risk assets on expectations that the United States and Iran could still reach a deal.
Data from Binance at 08:01 local time showed the cryptocurrency climbing 4.91% to $74,359.10, Caliber.Az reports, citing Bloomberg.
The price increase came after remarks by US President Donald Trump that Iran had requested the resumption of peace talks despite the naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
According to IG Markets analyst Tony Sycamore, Bitcoin is behaving like a classic risk asset.
