Bloomberg: First LNG cargo since war began exits Persian Gulf
28 April 2026 14:03
A liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanker has passed through the Strait of Hormuz and exited the Persian Gulf for the first time since the onset of the US–Iran conflict, according to Bloomberg.
The Liberian-flagged vessel, Mubaraz, had loaded cargo in March from the Das Island export facility operated by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company in the United Arab Emirates.
It is now reported to be sailing off the southern coast of India, based on ship-tracking data.
The tanker was last recorded inside the Persian Gulf around 28 days ago, according to MarineTraffic monitoring services.
