Bloomberg: Israel hitting Syria’s pro-Iranian militants without warning Russia

Israel has stepped up attacks on pro-Iranian forces in Syria.

Russia is often not notified of shelling in advance, which can lead to a deterioration in relations between Tel Aviv and Moscow, Bloomberg reports.

“Israel has stepped up strikes against Iran-backed militias in Syria that have approached the Israeli border. This event is associated with a key shift in Israeli policy - now Israel does not always warn Russia, the patron of Syria, in advance about attacks on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic,” the agency writes.

At the same time, it is reminded of the possibility of Syria, which has not yet concluded a peace treaty with Israel, joining the war on the side of Hamas.
