Bodies of missing Azerbaijani servicemen found in Kalbajar

The bodies of Azerbaijani servicemen who went missing on the border direction in Lachin district on 3 March 2022 have been found.

The remains of Abdullayev Firdovsi Mais oglu and Mammadov Farid Ajdar oglu have been found in Yuzbulag locality, Istisu settlement of Kalbajar district, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

Abdullayev Firdovsi Mais oglu will be buried on 8 August in the Alley of Martyrs in Ganja, and Mammadov Farid Azhdar oglu will be buried in Orta Garvend village of Agdam district.

On March 3, 2022, soldiers of the Azerbaijani Army Firdovsi Abdullayev and Farid Mammadov, moving from one combat position to another in the territory of Lachin district, lost their bearings in conditions of poor visibility due to a snowstorm.
