Border bottleneck at Azerbaijan–Georgia crossing: 200 trucks stuck at Red Bridge

Around 200 trucks have accumulated at the Girmizi Korpu (Red Bridge) customs post on the Azerbaijan–Georgia border, according to the Baku-based Ground Transport Agency (AYNA).

The agency stated that at the live queue for exit, 18 trucks are waiting at the Astara customs post, 10 at Mazimgara, 74 at Samur, 75 at Bilasuvar, while there are no trucks at the Khanoba customs post, Caliber.Az reports.

The Red Bridge border crossing is one of the busiest trade routes between Azerbaijan and Georgia, serving as a key gateway for goods traveling between the South Caucasus and international markets.
