Borrell meets Iranian FM, urges Tehran to stop militarily supporting Moscow
The European Union’s Foreign Policy Chief, Joseph Borrell, has met the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and urged Teheran to “immediately stop” its military support to Moscow.
As Caliber.Az reports, Borrell shared this on his official Twitter account.
“[Held a] necessary meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in Jordan amidst deteriorating Iran-EU relations. I stressed the need to immediately stop military support to Russia and the internal repression in Iran. We agreed that we must keep communication open and restore JCPOA [Iranian nuclear deal] on the basis of the Vienna negotiations”, his post read.
