Brazil declares three days of mourning following deadly plane crash

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has declared a three-day national mourning state following a plane crash in São Paulo state that resulted in the deaths of 61 people.

Lula announced the state of mourning on his X account, Caliber.Az reports.

“In memory of the 61 victims of the tragic incident in Vinhedo, we are declaring an official three-day period of mourning across the country,” the president stated, sharing the text of the official decree.
