Brent crude rises above $101 per barrel

As of 13:38 GMT, the price of Brent crude on the ICE exchange for November delivery rose above $101 a barrel during trading on 9 September, up 3.37% from the previous close.

The day’s high on September 9 was $101.04 a barrel, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

Brent had last reached such levels on 24 July.

By 14:10 GMT, the price had eased to $100.76 a barrel, up 2.90%.

Meanwhile, WTI crude futures for delivery the following month had risen to $95.76 a barrel, up 2.93%.
