British Eurofighter Typhoon makes emergency landing in Türkiye
A Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet belonging to the British Air Force has made an emergency landing at a military airbase in Türkiye due to a technical issue.
After the malfunction is eliminated, the aircraft will continue to perform its tasks, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.
The reports say that on October 29, the Eurofighter, involved in the US and its allies' Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR), made an emergency landing at the Turkish Air Force base in Diyarbakir province in the southeast of the country due to a technical malfunction. It was escorted by Turkish military aircraft.
“The Eurofighter’s maintenance is underway, and it will soon depart the Diyarbakir base,” the sources said, addressing questions about the jet’s presence in Türkiye.
