British PM voices support for Israel

UK Prime Minister Liz Truss has said that she is "a huge Zionist and a supporter of Israel" who fully intended to "take the UK-Israel relationship from strength to strength".

She made the remarks at the Conservative Friends of Israel event on October 3, according to Scotsman.com.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid said that UK Prime Minister Liz Truss is considering shifting the British embassy in Tel Aviv to the contested holy city of Jerusalem.
