Brussels bans Russians from entering EU with smartphones, cars

The European Commission confirmed the ban on Russian citizens to enter the EU countries with personal smartphones, cars and cosmetics.

It is noted that under the ban fall cars and other vehicles designed for the transportation of less than ten people, RBC reports, citing the explanations of the European Commission.

It does not matter whether they are used for private or commercial transportation. Trailers and semi-trailers are also under the ban.

In addition, Russians are forbidden to carry personal belongings, such as a laptop, smartphone, jewellery and even shampoo. The import of these items may be regarded as prohibited imports.
