Israeli airstrikes hit key sites in Damascus VIDEO
A series of powerful Israeli airstrikes struck multiple locations in the Syrian capital on July 16, injuring at least 13 people, according to Syrian state media.
Three explosions rocked central Damascus, with strikes targeting high-profile sites including the vicinity of the People’s Palace — the presidential residence — the courtyard of the Ministry of Defence, and the headquarters of the Syrian General Staff, Caliber.Az reports via SANA.
The Syrian Ministry of Health confirmed the number of injuries had risen to 13 as a result of the strikes.
In a statement, the Israeli military said it had launched a strike targeting the entrance gates of Syria’s military command centers. It did not provide further details about the operation or its objectives.
