Israeli military continues to strike Syrian targets in Damascus VIDEO
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed conducting airstrikes targeting military sites belonging to the Syrian government in the capital, Damascus.
According to an official IDF statement, one of the strikes hit a military headquarters used by Syrian regime commanders to coordinate operations and deploy forces to the southern Suwayda region. Another target was located near the presidential palace in Damascus, the army said, Caliber.Az cites.
According to reports, over the past 24 hours, the Israeli Air Force has targeted Syrian forces advancing toward the Suwayda province. Among the destroyed targets were tanks, rocket launchers, and pickup trucks equipped with heavy machine guns.
In addition, the Israeli army noted that the strikes were also aimed at blocking roads leading into the region. Video footage from the attack sites was released.

The Israeli army stated that it continues to “monitor” developments in southern Syria related to the Druze population and the actions of the Syrian government. It added that, “in accordance with directives from the Israeli political leadership, it is striking the region and preparing for various scenarios.”
