Bulgaria rejects Ukraine's request for heavy weapons

Bulgarian Defence Minister Dimitar Stoyanov has said the country had rejected Ukraine's request to transfer heavy weapons to Kyiv.

“Parliament [of Bulgaria] voted to provide military-technical assistance [to Ukraine], but not weapons, we cannot violate this decision,” he said, according to Radio Bulgaria.

The minister said the situation in the Black Sea remains unchanged at the moment.
