Bulgaria summons Russian ambassador over drone incident in Poland

The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has summoned Russian Ambassador Eleonora Mitrofanova and delivered a written demarche regarding the recent drone incident in Poland, Caliber.Az reported, citing an official statement from Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry.

The statement emphasised that Bulgarian authorities condemn the violation of Polish airspace and expressed “solidarity with their ally and partner.”

The ministry issued a similar statement regarding the September 13 incident in which a Russian drone violated Romanian airspace.
