Bus accident in Nakhchivan leaves over 15 injured PHOTO

A serious traffic accident involving a passenger bus has left more than 15 people injured in the autonomous republic of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan.

The incident occurred on the Nakhchivan–Sadarak highway near the village of Hok, located in the Kangarli District. According to local reports, the bus veered off the road and plunged into a roadside ditch under unclear circumstances, Caliber.Az reports.

Emergency responders from Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations were quickly dispatched to the scene. Authorities are currently working to assist the injured and investigate the cause of the crash.
