Bus plunges down slope in South Korea after multi-vehicle crash
A bus accident occurred on the Gyeongbu Expressway near the northbound entrance to Daegu, South Korea, when the vehicle broke through a guardrail and slid down a slope, Yonhap News Agency reports.
The bus driver and seven passengers sustained minor injuries, six of whom were taken to a nearby hospital. Police said the injured experienced dizziness and shock, but no serious injuries were reported.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident began when a one-ton truck skidded and collided with the side of another truck. The bus, traveling nearby, was struck on its left side, causing it to slide approximately five meters down the embankment.
The incident involved a total of four vehicles: the bus and three trucks. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
