Canada expands sanctions against Russia

Canada has expanded anti-Russian sanctions and imposed a ban on consulting oil and gas and chemical enterprises in Russia.

According to the data, the restrictions affected 28 types of activities, among them: construction, transportation, computer services, accounting services, consulting, Prime reports referring to the Canadian government.

Restrictions will apply to Russian companies operating in the areas of mining, oil refining, coal and chemical products.

At the end of May, Canada introduced a new package of sanctions against the financial sector of the Russian Federation, which included 22 individuals and 4 legal entities, including high-ranking employees of Russian financial institutions and large banks.
