Canadian PM, US president discuss Middle East tensions in phone call

On March 9, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney held a phone call with US President Donald Trump to discuss the situation in the Middle East.
Writing on X, Carney stated that the conversation also covered economic issues and bilateral trade, Caliber.Az reports.
I spoke with President Trump this afternoon on a range of issues, including the economy, developments in the Middle East, and trade relations between our two countries — and we agreed to stay in close contact.
